Prince Charles and his wife will grace Queensland with their presence in April, where they will commence a royal tour.

The couple’s visit to the sunshine state will coincide with the 2018 Commonwealth Games, where the royals will be guests of honour…

Or if you’re the Minister for Tourism Kate Jones, Charles and Camilla’s visit during the Games was the “jewel in the crown”.

Prince Charles and Camilla just wrapped a 3-day tour of Cornwall and Devon.

Where locals were very friendly.

According to reports, Charles’ youngest sibling, Prince Edward, will “likely” attend the event, while their mother, Queen Elizabeth, will announce in October her intention to swing by our Aussie nation.

The last time we saw the future King on Queensland’s shores was back in 2012.

It’s believed the 69-year-old is excited to see the Great Barrier Reef, and with his passionate views on conservation – he’ll no doubt do what he can to promote the cause.

It’s go, go, go, for the couple.

Charles and Camilla braved classic British rain during their three-day tour of Devon and Cornwall last week.

In 72 hours, the duo packed in a crazy 13 engagements, meeting with food producers, community volunteers and charity workers.

While shopping at Barnstaple Pannier Market, he purchased his grandkids a storybook called The Goodnight Star by Amy Sparkes.

His wife revealed that the doting grandpa adores reading to young George and Charlotte,

The youngsters are said to be “spellbound” by the “brilliant mimic’s” dramatic reading of Harry Potter.
