She may have been bumped down the line by her new baby cousin Charlotte, but Princess Beatrice, now seventh in line to the throne, is part of a generation of young royals who have grown up before our eyes.
The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson, the Princess of York, is set to turn 27 tomorrow.
Ahead of the big day it seems her father was reminiscing about how the years have just flown by.
He shared on Twitter a sweet black and white throwback photo of a two-week-old Beatrice nestled in her parents arms.
“#TBT Two week old @yorkiebea in 1988. HRH will celebrate her 27th birthday on Saturday #HappyBirthdayHRH,” the tweet read
The Princess has managed to live a relatively normal life for a royal family member, but is committed to her charity work, has collected many celebrity friends, and will always be known for that hat.
As she celebrates her 27th birthday,we look over the life of the Princess.
Born on 8-8-88, Princess Beatrice of York is 25 today.
She was named after Queen Victoria’s daughter.
Like her cousins Prince William and Harry, Beatrice has grown up in the spotlight.
