Prince Andrew’s involvement with the late Jeffrey Epstein has been the subject of headlines for months, but now a new, unnamed witness has come forward.
The woman says she witnessed Prince Andrew dancing with his accuser Virginia Giuffre in London’s Tramp nightclub in 2001, and is being represented by lawyer Lisa Bloom, who also represents five women who say Jeffrey Epstein sexually assaulted them.

(Image: Getty Images)Speaking to a press conference in New York, Ms Bloom stated that the witness stepped on Prince Andrew’s foot by mistake while dancing next to him and a friend pointed out who it was that she’d accidentally trodden on.
“She thought to herself ‘Oh my God, I’m in the presence of a royal‘. It was a very big moment to her,” Ms Bloom told the press.
“She says that she gawked at him because he was a prince.
“After she was done staring at him for quite some time, she looked at who he was with and it was a very young girl about her age.
“And in the photographs that she has seen since, she identifies that young woman, or girl, as Virginia Roberts.
“Because he is a very powerful person, she is in fear of the repercussions to her,” Bloom added, before revealing she had contacted the FBI on her behalf.

Speaking to the BBC’s Panorama, the now 36-year-old recalled dancing with Prince Andrew, whom she dubbed “the most hideous dancer” she’d ever seen in her life.
“This guy was sweating all over me, his sweat was raining basically everywhere,” she stated to journalist Emily Maitlis.
“But I knew I had to keep him happy because that’s what Jeffrey and Ghislaine [his wife] would have expected from me.”

Prince Andrew has since stepped back from his public duties, but despite this, has reportedly not been cooperating with the FBI in the ongoing investigation, and has not responded to their interview requests.
A lawyer who is representing five of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers told the BBC that the victims were “outraged and disappointed at Prince Andrew’s behaviour here”.
“If Prince Andrew truly has done nothing wrong then it’s incumbent upon him to go and speak to the FBI at a time that’s convenient for him and say what he knows. Perhaps he can help bring other people to justice.”
