She was labelled ‘Her Royal Hotness’ after nearly out shining her older sister Duchess Catherine in a derriere-hugging gown at the royal wedding, but it hasn’t all been positive for Pippa Middleton.
In her first ever interview, the 30-year-old has opened up to NBC’s Today Show about how she felt “publicly bullied” after that now famous Alexander McQueen bridesmaid’s dress attracted her world-wide attention.
“It was completely unexpected. I think the plan was not really for it to be a significant dress,” she said.
“It was really just to sort of blend in with the train. I suppose it’s flattering.”
The former journalist and sports fanatic revealed that despite feeling completely embarrassed by the entire ordeal, she still has the dress.
“It’s actually still in my wardrobe at home,” Pippa said.
“I haven’t worn it since. But I think I’ll just keep it there. I think it’s the sort of thing that I’m sure I’ll bring out if someone wanted to see it or my children one day want to see it. Then I’ll show them. But it’s tucked away.”
The brunette beauty also spoke about her struggles of dealing with online trolls after she was bombarded with mean comments after the royal wedding.
“It’s hard sometimes because I have felt publicly bullied a little bit just by, you know, when I read things that clearly aren’t true or that, whichever way someone looks at it, it’s a negative side,” Pippa said.

“It is quite difficult. Because effectively I’m just paving my way and trying to live a life like any 30-year-old.
“I think people feel they can say something about you online or on a web page when they would never say it to your face but they think that’s okay. It’s been difficult.”
Pippa also spoke briefly of her love for her adorable nephew Prince George.
“He’s amazing. He’s a very dear boy,” she said.
