As all die-hard Home and Away fans will all agree, we love a reunion between cast members from seasons past.
And in some Summer Bay nostalgia on Thursday, Lynne McGranger enjoyed a well overdue catch-up with Nic Westaway, who played River Boy Kyle Braxton from 2012 to 2016.
The former co-stars met up at Lynne’s book signing in Sydney for her memoir, Acting Up – Me, Myself and Irene.

Hordes of Home and Away fans rejoiced at the reunion, and took the opportunity to call for Nic to reprise his role as Kyle.
“What a great photo of u both! I’m sure (like myself), all your fans would love to see you return to ‘The Bay’ 🙏🏻😎😂 You could rent a room from Irene haha,” one fan commented.
“Please tell me Kyle is making an appearance in the Bay again 👀😂,” said another. “Is Kyle Braxton back!!!! Even for a second 😍😍❤️❤️,” a third comment read.
In Lynne’s book, the 68-year-old will lift the lid on moments from her childhood to her career, and everything in between.
Lynne, who has played Irene on the soap for almost 30 years, shared some startling revelations, including that she previously had an eating disorder.
It’s the first time she has talked about the experience she struggled with from the age of 15 to 28.
“I had a form of bulimia where you binge, and instead of vomiting, you take laxatives,” she told the Daily Telegraph.
“It seemed like a good idea at the time. I now know that it was a form of bulimia, but there was no name for it back then.”

(Instagram)Lynne, who plays Irene Robert on Home and Away joined the cast when she was 39, and alleged that in her early years on the show, a lot of pressure was placed on the young actors to look a certain way.
However, she pointed out that this old school take on beauty is no longer a prominent issue.
“Certainly, when I first started on the show, young girls would get pulled aside and told they were stacking on the weight a bit, and they better do something. Things are very different now,” she said.
