Prince William is heading back to work today after six weeks paternity leave.
The 32-year-old royal took unpaid leave from his role as a pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance service in April, two weeks before wife Kate welcomed the couple’s second child.
After a few days rest and recuperation at Kensington Palace, the new family of four retreated to Amner Hall, their newly-renovated country home on the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk, where they have been ever since.
William is understood to be in the final stages of his training to be an air ambulance pilot. He took up the new post earlier this year after retiring from his stint as a search and rescue pilot in the Royal Air Force in September 2013.
