With a rare glimpse into the private lives of the Royal family, unseen footage has been released of the Queen playing with her little prince in time for Mother’s Day in the U.K. reports Daily Mail
The footage was taken in their home in 1949 when the Prince was just one year old and beginning to toddle on wobbly, chubby legs.
The clip shows Princess Elizabeth, aged 23, delighting her young son as she encouraged him to walk to her by shaking a tray of blocks to entice him.
Later, the pair played together, giggling and tickling on the royal couch.
Clarence House tweeted the touching 50-second film which was made by the Monarch herself and entitled it ‘Prince Charles at Home’. It was shown in part for the Christmas Day broadcast in 2008, but it is understood to be part of the Royal family’s personal archive.
