When it comes to love, heartbreak, romance and shock affairs the residents of Ramsay Street have seen it all.
From dead wives returning with evil doppelgängers to Australia’s first same sex soap wedding, Neighbours has given fans almost every romantic storyline imaginable.
While the drama and scandal is never-ending on screen, it’s quite a different story off-screen for its characters’ real-life counterparts and their better halves.
Many of them have even made sneaky cameos and guest appearances on the show!
Meet the partners your favourite stars go home to when they leave their neighbours, below.
Stefan
Stefan Dennis
While his on-screen alter-ego Paul Robinson may have been married more times than we can count, Stefan Dennis’ real-life love story couldn’t be more different.
The Neighbours stalwart has been married to his gorgeous wife, Gail Easdale, for 20 years and they share two children together.
Gail even appeared on the soap in 2016 playing Paul’s business nemesis, Julie Quill.
Bek
Rebekah Elmaloglou
Paul’s better half, Terese, played by Rebekah Elmaloglou, has her own better half outside of the show.
Rebekah married her partner Kane Baker in 2009, and the couple share a son together who has also made a guest appearance on the show.
Alan
Alan Fletcher
Legendary character Dr Karl, aka Alan Fletcher, has been wed to wife and former Channel 10 News presenter, Jennifer Hansen, even longer than his equally iconic on-screen wife, Susan Kennedy, played by Jackie Woodburne.
Alan and Jennifer married in 1990 and have been happy ever since!
Sharon
Sharon Johal
If you haven’t followed Sharon Johal on Instagram or Tik Tok, you are missing out. Not only is she fabulously entertaining, she’s often sharing hilarious videos with her hubby, Ankur.
Ankur recently stepped in to help Neighbours film intimate scenes without breaking COVID restrictions. So we’re pretty much his number one fan now.
Well, maybe number two behind Sharon…
Ryan
Ryan Moloney
From the tragic passing of Sonya to his missing, presumed dead wife Dee Bliss returning with an evil twin, few characters have been as unlucky-in-love as Toadie Rebecchi.
In real-life, however, Ryan has been quite the opposite, happily married since 2003 to wife Alison Hayward.
April
April Rose Pengilly
Offspring of legendary INXS band member, Kirk Pengilly, it seems only fitting April has found herself head-over-heels for musician Alex Laska who is a member of popular rock band, Kingswood.
Tim
Tim Robards
Tim may have left the show and said goodbye to his character, Pierce Greyson, but his real-life romance may be one of the most notable amongst the cast.
As the first Australian Bachelor in 2013, Tim met his now wife Anna Heinrich on the show and the couple recently welcomed a baby girl.
Bonnie
Bonnie Anderson
Bonnie debuted her romance with model-turned-tradesman Brenton Goldsack in August this year, and despite being together for just a matter of months, Bonnie is clearly smitten.
Speaking with Now To Love the actress and singer revealed: “We’ve known each other for a couple of years and we’ve been friends and supported each other through some milestones parts of our lives.
“We kind of came together because of our love of dogs. We took our dogs for a walk one day at the start of the pandemic, when you were still allowed to walk.
“And we just connected – emotionally and just on each other’s level.”
Takaya
Takaya Honda
His character, David, had one of Australia television’s most iconic weddings to Aaron (Matt Wilson) as the first same sex nuptials to be aired on our screens.
Away from Ramsay Street Takaya recently wed his real-life fiancée Amy Beth, in a slightly more low-key ceremony in Byron Bay.
Ben
Ben Hall
We’re just going to say it, Ben Hall and his long-time girlfriend Pure Bell are the cutest couple out there.
Dating for over five years now, they’re always sharing the sweetest snaps together.
