There are few movie lines more iconic than Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz reciting “Good Morning Charlie,” in unison and thankfully it seems we have not heard the last of it.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony is in talks with the incredible Elizabeth Banks to direct a Charlie’s Angels re-make and we could not be more excited.
Elizabeth made her directorial debut earlier this with the hit film Pitch Perfect 2 which earned her the title of the second highest grossing film directed by a female ever!
Reports suggest that Sony want the blonde beauty to direct the film as well as produce it along with her husband and business partner Max Handelman.
There’s no news yet on who will play the feisty heroines but if you were to ask us, we think it’ll be pretty hard to improve upon the stellar job Drew, Cam and Lucy did!
However, we have full faith in Elizabeth Banks and there’s zero doubt in our mind that she’ll absolutely slay it!
We cannot wait.
