Since the Duchess of Sussex touched down in Sydney at 6am on Monday morning, she has been the epitome of glamour.
Not a hair out of place nor a smudge of mascara to be seen despite having a hectic Royal Tour schedule and being newly pregnant!

But despite Meghan’s natural sense of style, it seems the 37-year-old royal has brought along her own hand-picked glam squad to accompany her and Prince Harry to make their first overseas tour as husband and wife a success.

For not only has Meghan brought along her best friend Jessica Mulroney as her trusty stylist but was spotted yesterday with celebrity hairdresser George Northwood who has tended the locks of beauties including Alexa Chung and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

The stylist: BFF Jessica Mulroney

The Canadian stylist, PR consultant and wedding planner was seen in Sydney for the first time yesterday evening, after flying in from Canada with TV presenter husband, Ben Mulroney.
The glamorous couple was seen stocking up on supplies including bottles of water and bananas at a 7/11 store after a gym workout at F45.
Meghan’s long-time best friend will provide stylist support and expertise for what will be around three outfit changes a day for the Duchess.
It’s believed Meghan and Harry will pay for Jessica, 38 and 42-year-old Rob’s expenses out of their own pockets.

Meghan and Jessica met some years ago after Meghan relocated to Toronto to film the popular TV series Suits and have remained steadfastly loyal to one another ever since.

The celebrity hairdresser: George Northwood
George is part of the UK fashion scene with a renowned hairdressing salon in London’s glitzy Fitzrovia serving the rich and famous.
He famously styled Meghan’s tresses for her May wedding to Prince Harry, creating a relaxed up do. The Duchess of Sussex also brought George along when she ventured to Ireland for her first overseas engagement with Prince Harry in July this year.

Now he’s flown with the royal party to Australia to keep Meghan’s hair looking perfect.
The duchess showed off two different hair looks on the first day of her visit to Sydney, wearing her dark locks in loose waves down over her shoulders while dressed in a white shift dress by Australian designer Caroline Gee.

Later on in the day, George styled Meghan’s hair into her signature messy bun, after changing into an olive green frock by Brandon Maxwell.
Kensington Palace confirmed that George’s presence on the Royal Tour is being privately paid for by the Duke and Duchess.

Northwood, who was photographed arriving with the rest of the couple’s entourage in Sydney on Monday, has been extremely discreet since styling Meghan’s hair for her wedding reception at Frogmore House but happily posts pictures of his famous clients, like fashion it-girl Alexa Chung to Instagram.
George himself has not ever spoken publicly about styling Meghan’s hair, or made any reference to his royal client on his Instagram page.
But Australian magazine editor Jo Elvin – who is herself one of Northwood’s clients – revealed that he had texted her after the wedding, saying that he wasn’t able to “breathe a word” about being chosen for the job ahead of the big day.
That’s good news for the Duchess of Sussex but a shame for the rest of us who can’t get enough of her royal style!
