And this latest installment errs on the side of downright wild.

While the world waits with baited breath for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to share their exciting news, a shock new report from UK magazine new! claims Meghan has grand plans to debut Baby Sussex on the cover of fashion bible Vogue – much to the dismay of The Queen.

“Meghan is adamant that she is going to do everything about her birth differently from what is usually expected for a royal and unfortunately it’s been creating a huge amount of tension between herself and the palace,” an insider told the publication.

“Instead she’s in talks with Vogue about doing an exclusive at-home photo shoot with her and the baby when she’s ready for her close-up and wants to turn it into a big Hollywood showbiz moment,” the source claimed, adding Meghan wants to be the one “calling the shots” and is rejecting the advice of palace courtiers and the “Queen herself”, who is said to be “deeply against” the idea.

The Queen is reportedly “deeply against” the idea of debuting Baby Sussex on the cover of Vogue.

Of course, Meghan wouldn’t be the first high-profile star to take this route.

In October 2006, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes famously introduced the world to their five-month-old daughter Suri Cruise on the cover of Vanity Fair, shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Meghan herself is no stranger to having a cover girl moment.

In September 2017, just months before news of her engagement to Prince Harry broke, the then Suits actress starred on the cover of the US Vanity Fair, opening up about her romance with the royal for the first time.

However the palace have since shutdown the outlandish report.

“We can confirm that this is completely untrue,” a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said.

If we had to put our money on it, we predict the proud new parents will first break the news on their newly-launched Instagram account with a sweet photo of the bub’s hands and feet, followed by a low-key photocall a few days later.

But until then, the wild theories will continue to flow!
