Oh how time flies.
It seems only weeks ago that we were celebrating the birth of baby Archie, who was born on May 6 in a royal event that will be remembered for years to come.
Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry took some much needed private time as a family in the weeks following as they began a new chapter of parenthood.
And while we’ve seen small snippets of Meghan in the months since the birth, it looks like we’re about to see her back in all her stylish glory.
In an exciting update for the royal, it has been revealed that Meghan will be stepping out next Thursday, September 12 as she launches her brand new capsule workwear collection she has designed in collaboration with Smart Works.
This will mark the very first formal engagement that Meghan has partaken in public on her own since the birth of baby Archie.
Oh, and did we mention that this means one very exciting thing?
Our eyeballs are about to be blessed once again with Meghan’s flawless style, and boy are we excited.
Meghan has only been seen a handful of times in the months since baby Archie’s birth.
She was officially seen back in the limelight at June’s Trooping the Colour parade, where the new mum was looking radiant in a navy blue Clare Waight Keller design.
The Duchess next stepped out openly in public to attend a baseball game with husband Prince Harry, where the pair mixed with the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees – both teams of which were playing in London.
In July, we had the absolute thrill of seeing Duchess Meghan attend the red carpet premiere of The Lion King.
Wearing a drop dead stunning Jason Wu gown, the glamorous display from the royal was enough to tide us over for the ensuing two-month hiatus, of which we’ve been devoid of seeing the various on-point fashion choices she makes.
But as though she knew we were getting impatient, the Duchess is making her grand debut back into the spotlight in her duties as a royal in less than a week’s time.
Meghan’s first formal engagement next week will be a very exciting one for the royal.
She has spent many months designing the workwear collection, which was in collaboration with her patronage and charity Smart Works.
The charity helps vulnerable women gain skills and confidence to get back into the workforce after enduring hardships.
Pieces from the collection will be sold on a ‘one-for-one’ basis, so for any item purchased, another is donated to women in need.

For the new collection, Meghan has partnered with British fashion stalwarts Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Jigsaw, and Misha Nonoo.
Expected to feature a number of key, staple workwear items, we couldn’t think of a better collaboration to occur between the queen of smart-casual – aka Meghan herself.
We’re also well aware of the fact Meghan has a knack for selling out almost anything that she steps out wearing – so we’re expecting this new collection is going to be quite popular.
Not least because of this, we’ll be marking our calendars for September 12 immediately – looks like this is going to one very fashionable event.
