Yesterday, an article by The Times revealed sensational bullying claims about Duchess Meghan, with the complaints of a former palace staffer against the Duchess’ behaviour coming to light.
Naturally, the report quickly did the rounds. News and media outlets went to town on the allegations, calling the Duchess out for what it claimed.
But since the explosive report, both Meghan and Buckingham Palace have also put in their two cents.
Shortly after the article was published, a spokesperson for the Duchess shared Meghan’s “sadness” at the claims.
“The duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma,” the statement read.
“She is determined to continue her work building compassion around the world and will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good.”
Meghan quickly responded to the bullying claims.
(Getty)This morning, Buckingham Palace also issued a response to the claims, explaining: “We are clearly very concerned about allegations in The Times following claims made by former staff of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“Accordingly our HR team will look into the circumstances outlined in the article. Members of staff involved at the time, including those who have left the Household, will be invited to participate to see if lessons can be learned.”
The statement concluded: “The Royal Household has had a Dignity at Work policy in place for a number of years and does not and will not tolerate bullying or harassment in the workplace.”
Buckingham Palace has also released a statement.

The interview is set to be an explosive explanation about everything Harry and Megha have been through since marrying in 2018.
In a no holds barred-style chat (which will be all the more natural given Meghan and Harry are close friends with the iconic talk show host), it’s set to be one of the biggest, Diana-style reveals.
You have to wonder about the timing of the Times article – just as Harry and Meghan look set to bare all on life in the Palace.
