With five children, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Norma McLennan has had her fair share of memorable moments in her time. But nothing compares to the day Prince Harry kissed her on the cheek!
The grandmother from Warwick, Queensland was in Canberra when Harry visited, and as a royal fan, Norma was keen make an impression.
“He kept coming towards us… and then he was shaking my hand!” she beamed.
“I said, ‘It was my birthday yesterday and I’m 76.’ He said, ‘Happy birthday!’ and I said, ‘Give me a kiss!’
The cheeky grandmother almost took herself by surprise! “I can’t believe I did it,” she said.
“I can still feel it! I left my lipstick on his cheek but he didn’t rub it off.”
Wow, if we were Norma we’d probably never wash that cheek again!
