The 25-year-old, who plays Theo Poulos in the long running Channel Seven drama series, shared two side by side snaps to show of his impressive ”shred” after eight weeks of intensive workouts with his personal trainer Harris Barclay.

To drive home the difference, Matt wore the same pair of Bonds brand boxer shorts in both the before and after images, revealing that he had lost more than 10kg of body fat in less than two months and toned right up.

Fans couldn’t believe the before and after!

”I did a massive bulk last year which then lasted through Christmas, and it was the first time I had ever weighed 90kg in my life,” he wrote on his social media. ”I am now back at 80kgs where I like to sit.

”Harris wrote up my diet plan and training plan which YES DID NOT involve cardio,” Matt continued.

”I just went for an occasional walk if I wanted to be more active. Harris made the diet easy to follow and all you have to do is eat the food and show up to the gym.

”The training program was catered to my needs with weight training. Harris also checks in fortnightly to keep you on track and is just a downright good bloke.”

”If you wanna get in serious shape @harrisbarclay is your man! Thanks brother.”

Whilst it is unclear if this was a sponsored post, the results do speak for themselves, and we are more than impressed at Matt’s dedication to his diet, training and general wellness to achieve such an inspiring result so quickly.
