The Duchess of Cambridge has doubtless received hundreds of festive season invitations, but so far there is just one she couldn’t turn down.
Kensington Palace has confirmed Catherine will attend children’s charity the Anna Freud Centre’s Family School Christmas party in North London on December 15.
She will celebrate the progress the school’s students, who suffer from mental health problems, have made during the year.
The Anna Freud Centre is very close to the Duchess’ heart – it was the first place she visited when she returned to royal duties after the birth of Princess Charlotte and she is known to be passionate about child mental health.
