Over the weekend, the royal marked the ending to her Hold Still photography competition, and to do so, she did it in true style.

The project sparked from the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to support and showcase some of the incredible work from frontline workers.

To mark the end of the project, Kate spoke to two frontline workers, who were involved in setting up a pop-up COVID clinic in London where one of the winning portraits was captured.

“For me, the most powerful part of the project is that it has shown just how much people and communities have come together and how important we all are to each other. Thank you so much for being part of Hold Still and for sharing your stories with the nation,” the Duchess said in the video message.

The Duchess also spoke to the doctors about the important role of their photographs, which captured the workers setting up a COVID clinic in London, as it represented the experiences of frontline workers across the nation.

They also explained that the image sparked many messages from medical staff across the UK, and around the world, and has allowed them to share their own experiences of working during such extraordinary times.

The poignant images from the exhibition highlighted the incredible work frontline workers have been doing throughout the pandemic.

Of course, Kate looked every bit as chic as you’d expect in the video call, wearing a cornflower blue long sleeved button up and with her hair in loose waves.

In a second video posted to Kensington Royal’s Instagram account, the 38-year-old thanked everyone who partook in the special competition.

For this video, she wore an elegant red jacket with puffed shoulders and a white shirt underneath.

She again left her enviable tresses out in loose waves.
