We are rarely privy to behind-the-scenes looks into the private lives of the royal family, but Duchess Catherine and Prince William have just temporarily quashed the status quo by sharing their rawest video to date.
As they wrapped up their five-day tour of Pakistan this week, the pair shared a glorious clip to their official Instagram account, Kensington Royal, where the whirlwind trip was wrapped up in 60 seconds of ogle-worthy footage.
Kicking off, the video begins with a candid clip of the pair hopping on-board a tuk tuk car, which they rode to a special reception on the second night of their stay in Pakistan.
Smiling and laughing together, Kate and William couldn’t look more in love as the quirky video begins.
Kate herself had already captured our attention from her outfit alone, which was a gorgeous glittering green Jenny Packham creation.
The behind the scenes feel to the footage is a true sight to behold, given we rarely get to see the royals, and especially William and Kate, so close-up.
In the tuk tuk clip, Kate is heard saying “so funny” as well as thanking a helper, telling them: “Thank you so much, we’ll see you there.”
The video also includes some stunning footage of Kate and Wills attending various poignant engagements during their tour, including visiting a mosque, speaking and laughing with kids at a school, playing a game of cricket and interacting with flair and ease with locals from the country.

The tour of Pakistan was definitely one of the couple’s most raw and revealing tours yet.
In a move that took many by surprise, Catherine did her first news interview with CNN since becoming a royal, and to say she was eloquent would be an understatement.
Speaking to CNN anchor and correspondent Max Foster while in Lahore, Pakistan, Kate spoke about visiting a SOS children’s village.
“William and I really wanted to come and see a SOS children’s village like this,” the Duchess explained.
“There’s so many vulnerable women here but they’ve really used their positivity and the support that the village here provides them to support and protect the next generation, the children in their care and give them the best possible start to their future lives.”
Speaking about their tour of Pakistan, Kate relayed how much she and William had embraced every special moment.
“It’s been fantastic, we’ve seen a lot of Pakistan, a huge variety, it’s amazing seeing some of the geography but then to see some of the community activities like this has been really special.”
The pair headed back to London over the weekend after the whirlwind tour, with Kensington Royal also sharing a personal Instagram post from Kate Middleton herself, who wrapped up the poignant experience of visiting the SOS Village.
“These vulnerable children, many who have come through traumatic circumstances, are nurtured in this caring environment and are able to form these quality relationships that they so desperately need to thrive,” the Duchess penned, alongside several gorgeous pictures of the pair speaking to people at the village.
It’s been clear that this tour has been a game-changer from the future King and Queen Consort of England, both of whom appear to have had a unique and immersive experience in Pakistani culture.
And for now, we’ll also have Kate’s epic slew of stunning outfits from the trip to gaze fondly at for the foreseeable future!
