Duchess Catherine might be one of the biggest celebrities in the world, but at the end of the day, she’s also a mother who absolutely adores her children.
And like any parent, the 37-year-old couldn’t help but gush about her eldest son Prince George while visiting a centre that supports young first-time parents and children in London on Thursday.
Kate attended the Sunshine House Children and Young People’s Health and Development Centre yesterday in her role as patron for the children’s hospital Evelina London, which supports the Family Nurse Partnership Program.
The program pairs parents with a specially trained family nurse who visits them regularly from early pregnancy until the child is two years old.
Kate looked stunning as she met with mothers who had benefited from the program, while also making an effort to speak to each member of staff as she entered the centre.
The 37-year-old looked chic and effortless in a black and white polka dot blouse with wide-legged trousers and her signature bouncy blowout.
Kate spoke to some of the women who have used the nursing program and spoke about her own family, including son Prince George.
Chloe Koroma, 22, met the Duchess and chatted to her about their respective families.
“It was lovely meeting the duchess. She asked how old [my son] Oliver is and what football shirt he was wearing,” Chloe told The Sun.
“She said children grow up so quickly and she can’t believe George is six already.”
Prince George just turned six on July 22 and recently accompanied his little sister Charlotte on her first day of “big school”.
Charlotte and George are both at Thomas’s Battersbea in London, a $34,000-a-year school where children are reportedly given a well-rounded education and given the “choices and learn to have a go and persevere, be creative and solve problems, form good relationships, be safe, secure and happy.”
A source recently told People magazine that Charlotte was incredibly excited to join her older brother at school.
“She can’t wait to be with George at big school. She is so excited about it all,” the source revealed.

The source also said George, who has attended the school for the last two years, will be helping Charlotte settle in.
“They are close in age, and they spend so much time together,” the source continued.
They explained that playdates with other children who aren’t as well known to the family “can be tricky”.
“So they learn to lean on each other.”
Charlotte and George both use the last name “Cambridge” when in the classroom and are referred to by their given names.
