The royals stepped out for the final event of the evening to attend a special reception on Tuesday – and they made their glamorous arrival in a rather unique way.

After a whirlwind first day of engagements, you’d think Kate and Wills might have been hoping for a quick kip before heading to an evening as classy as this.

But no matter, because when the royals arrived, they really arrived… by pulling up in a rickshaw vehicle!

And while their mode of transport was enough to have us all ogling, it was Kate’s incredible green dress that really stole the show.

Her emerald long-sleeve gown, designed by one of her personal favourites, Jenny Packham, was glittering from head to toe.

Along with the sparkling additions, the divine gown also featured a matching shoulder scarf featuring a soft shell hem and green tassels.

Accessories-wise, Kate opted for a pair of dazzling golden drop earrings by Onitaa, and wore her hair in a chic half-up, half-down style.

We’re calling it – this is our favourite gown on Duchess Catherine yet!

Meanwhile, Prince William was also looking just as impeccably dressed, wearing a matching teal traditional sherwani, which is a formal coat-style design.

His ensemble was designed by Pakistani label Naushemian.

What an absolute vision these two truly make!

The last event of their first full day in Pakistan was hosted by the British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Thomas Drew.

During the evening, William made a poignant speech, explaining what it means to the royals to be able to visit the county.

“Catherine and I have been honored by the hospitality you have shown us, and we have certainly managed to make our way through a record breaking amount of food so generously offered by our hosts,” he comically quipped.

He also referenced both Prince Charles and Princess Diana, who both visited the country themselves.

Explaining how Queen Elizabeth had first visited the country over half a century ago, Wills stated: “With successive visits by my mother and my father, this view has continued to change, with the city constantly growing and with it my family’s affection for Pakistan.”

Kate and Wills are marking a new generation of royal visits to the country.

Earlier in the day, the Duke and Duchess spent time visiting a local school in Islamad.

For the occasion, Kate again looked incredible in a purple kurta.

Later in the day, also visited the Margallah Hills National Park, where they helped to set up a leopard camera trap.

Kate changed into a gorgeous green Catherine walker coat for the occasion.
