It may have been a cold and drizzly day, but at their latest royal outing in Blackpool, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought their trademark cheer.
And Duchess Catherine even gave a rare insight into where she and her adorable family of five may go for an upcoming holiday.
On a walkabout outside the iconic Blackpool Tower, Duchess Catherine told well-wishers that she and Prince William did not go to the top but would like to bring Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and Prince Louis, 11 months to the seaside town and specifically up the tower next time.
“No we didn’t. Next time I think. There’s so much here the children would love as well. Hopefully next time we’ll bring them back.”
She also joked, “Is the weather always like this?”
Prince William also mentioned his children after he received some rock candy, a sweet treat that the town is famous for and said that the three youngsters would love to eat it.

Prince William also revealed the sweet thing he does for his daughter Princess Charlotte, and it’s something that we’re sure many dads of daughters can relate to!
Chatting with dads group Dads 4 Life, one dad said that he found styling his daughter’s hair “impossible” to which the royal dad jokingly replied, “Never try to do a ponytail! Nightmare.”
He added, “I can do Charlotte a pony tail but that’s about it as I don’t have enough hair to practise on!”
And William isn’t the only one, even Duchess Catherine agreed saying, “Have you tried to do a plait? It’s the weaving… Really hard.”

The Duke and Duchess were in town to check out a series of projects focused on investment and regeneration and also learned how the community is tackling the social and mental health problems affecting Brits today.
While Duchess Catherine met those involved in Blackpool’s ‘A Better Start’ programme, Prince William met those affected by problems around mental health, including issues such as homelessness and addiction. They rejoined for their last stop, a visit to Revoe Park that was once a site used for drug use.
Wrapped up warm in a green coat by Sportmax covering her Michael Kors dress, the Duchess of Cambridge accessorised her wintry look with black gloves, a matching scarf and a green box bag by Manu Atelier with her bouncy locks scraped back in a ponytail.
Maybe she asked Prince William to style it for her?
