Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge’s penchant for embracing bold colours makes her style stand out among her blue-blooded peers.
Her latest outfit that she wore during an afternoon with the Earl and Countess of Wessex for a garden party at Buckingham Palace has further proved there is seldom a hue she can’t pull off.
In the fine weather lighting up the event, the Duchess stepped out in a bright coral A-line pink blazer dress designed by Emilia Wickstead.
The mother-of-three styled the piece with a matching Jane Taylor fascinator, blush pumps, a white purse, and drop diamond earrings.
This isn’t the first time Catherien has worn one of Emilia’s designs.
In 2017, on the last day of her royal tour in Germany, she struck an elegant and sophisticated mood when she wore a lilac A-line dress with long sleeves by the designer.
Another pattern appearing in her sartorial choices is the Duchess’ endearing love for coat dresses that continues to prevail.
In February, she visited Queen Margrethe and Crown Princess Mary while wearing a well-tailored wool coat dress with black lapels and cuffs styled with black pumps.
The look inspired comparisons to a similar grey coat dress number that Princess Diana wore during her 1984 visit to Barnados Children’s Charity, of which she was patron.

Kate also donned another coat dress, which she had worn before, during a royal outing in February to discuss circular fashion and reducing clothing waste.
It appears at 40 years old the royal has solidified her love for specific styled and bold colours that set her apart from other royals, further proving that a signature look is a crucial detail to capturing one’s personal style.
Though Catherine’s frock was the centre of attention at the garden party, another royal also made a chic sartorial statement for the sunny event.
Sophie, Countess of Wessex was a vision in a floral patterned dress and matching hat, which she also styled with a clutch.
Buckingham Palace Garden hosts up to three garden parties a year, and another takes place at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.
The first event was held last week and Kate’s in-laws, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall hosted the event.
