Indeed her young children Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, 15 months, were the picture of joy as new footage of the tricksy three playing in Kate’s various outdoor creations was revealed.

But now, there are some other royals trying their hand to in Kate’s amazing design – and it’s a sight to behold.

On Monday, members of the royal family, including Queen Elizabeth herself, paid Kate’s new garden a visit before it was officially opened to the public.

Her Majesty greeted Prince William and Duchess Kate at the garden, and in a rather comical moment, told her grandson he looked “very tidy”.

The Queen took in her surroundings of the stunning garden before declaring it “very tidy” – this seems to be a phrase of choice for Her Majesty!

And indeed Kate certainly couldn’t have asked for a better outcome, she had spent a time before the Queen arrived picking up stray leaves and, according to the Daily Mail, stuffing them in her handbag, as she had nowhere else to put them!

Introducing the Queen to her team of gardening experts, who helped her create the masterpiece, Kate said: “There’s been a big team, there’s been so many volunteers… we threw ourselves into the deep end! I’ve had a lot of help.”

Indeed the garden itself has been a passion project for Kate who has worked on the design over the past few months.
