Married At First Sight Australia lovebirds Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant have welcomed their second child together, a baby boy.
On July 25, the MAFS stars took to Instagram to share the exciting news with the caption revealing he arrived a few days earlier.
“Carter James Merchant ❤️,” Jules revealed his name, before adding: “You are just perfection. We have a beautiful healthy boy!! 23/7/24”

“@cammerchant thank you for holding my hand through what felt like a life time but magic all at the same time. Family of four now 😍🥺❤️ I love you.”
Cam shared his own tribute, commemorating his wife’s strength.
“My goodness @julesrobinson82 just when I thought you couldn’t be any stronger, any more of a warrior.. You again are just so incredible & my love for you & our family continues to reach new heights,” he wrote.
“Was so proud to be holding your hand every step of the way & thank you for this incredible gift & miracle once more ❤️❤️”
Jules revealed the reasoning behind Carter’s name being one that embodies leadership, wisdom, responsibility and creativity. But his middle name, James holds significant importance for both Jules and Cam. The second time-mum revealed it was one of Cam’s “many middle names, her father’s middle name and “my oldest dear friend” who sadly passed away.

The initial announcement of Jules’ pregnancy was first shared on Stellar’s podcast Something To Talk About in February.
“We are having a baby!!!🫶🏼🫶🏼we are beyond so happy to share our wonderful news! It’s Been a long time in the making 😉 but we finally did it! #neverstopbelieving,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I love you @cammerchant and @babycubandladylumps.”
Meanwhile, Cam also took to his personal Instagram to share the happy news.
“When 3 becomes 4 🥰,” he began.
“We both can only imagine our hearts capacity to love will just keep on expanding…So excited to Announce we have a new addition to the family joining us in July!”
Since the announcement, Jules was sharing regular pregnancy updates particularly from the comfort of a Balinese resort, beach side and even attending Fashion Week Australia.
Aside from maintaining her busy schedule, we have do doubt Jules and Cam cherished every moment up until the bubs arrival after endeavouring to expand their family ever since they welcomed their first son Oliver in 2020.
In December 2022, the pair talked to our sister site Woman’s Day revealing they couldn’t wait to give Ollie a sibling.
“I’m an only child. I had a great childhood, but I’d have loved a sibling,” Cam told the publication.
“We would love to have had an announcement, but it hasn’t happened. But if there’s a will, there’s a way! We’ll do everything in our power to have another baby. So, fingers crossed, we’ll have an announcement next year,” Jules confessed in 2022.
It has been a difficult road for Jules, who admitted the struggle to get pregnant again was heightened by fans on social media begging for another baby.
