It’s the baby news royal watchers around the world are waiting for.
And five months after Meghan and Harry’s wedding, it looks like the couple are well and truly making plans to add to their family.
A source speaking to US Weekly recently confirmed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are indeed “trying for a baby.”
Meanwhile, Woman’s Day exclusively revealed the couple have a top team of medics at Sydney’s St Vincent’s Private Hospital on call during their visit should Meghan require any medical attention.
“Senior nurses have been briefed to be prepared for a possible visit from an ‘extremely high-profile patient’ and to treat it with absolute secrecy,” an Invictus Games aide explained.
“Of course, they haven’t been told who it is but it doesn’t take a genius to figure it out.”
What’s more, Meghan has been dropping a few subtle clues that she could indeed be with child…
The folders
This morning, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan touched down in Sydney ahead of their royal tour.
Despite the long-haul flight, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex looked fresh-faced and beaming ahead of their whirlwind royal tour of Australia, Fiji and Tonga.
Many eagle-eyed fans have been quick to point out that Meghan once again opted to wear a bulky overcoat.
But it was the strategic placement of two large folders across her stomach that sent the pregnancy rumours into overdrive.
With a ten-man entourage there would have been plenty of people to help the Duchess carry the binders, but interestingly Meghan chose to hold onto them herself – a sneaky ploy to cover a growing baby bump perhaps?
However, many have been quick to point out that Meghan simply could have been studying up on her various host countries.
ABC News journalist Richard Baines also spotted a takeaway getting dropped off at Admiralty House where the couple are staying, could the cravings be kicking in already?
Her billowing coat at the Royal Wedding
It was the second royal wedding of the year when the Queen’s granddaughter Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank.
While it was certainly all about the gorgeous bride in her Peter Piloto and Christopher de Vos ensemble, there was another hugely famous royal that sent the internet into meltdown.
We are of course referring to the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, whose Givenchy outfit of choice led to speculation she could be expecting.
The navy blue ensemble, while was absolutely stunning, was fully-covered by a matching coat, which the Duchess kept buttoned even when entering St George’s Chapel.
Due to the modest outfit, royal watchers became suspicious (hopeful) about a possible pregnancy.
In another telling clue, throughout the ceremony doting husband Prince Harry seemed extra affectionate towards his wife and was pictured placing his arm over her shoulders in warm embrace.
Further speculation was abound at Meghan’s glowing and fuller face – which obviously sent the internet into meltdown!
Her new hairstyle
Some people are speculating that the new, straight way Meghan has worn her hair at recent royal engagements means she’s actually pregnant.
While the new style looked stunning on the 37-year-old (long and straight), it came at a time where rumours are rife around whether she’s pregnant, and this only fuels them.
The reasoning? Duchess Catherine has previously changed her hairstyle right before she’s announced her pregnancies, with thoughts that the change in style on top will draw attention away from the rest of her body, and more specifically her growing tum.
What’s more, Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton also employed the technique before her baby announcement, exchanging her longer tresses for a lob haircut. This seriously thickens the “is Meghan pregnant?” plot!
Her Royal Tour itinerary
With 76 engagements in 16 days across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga, Meghan and Harry’s aim is to meet as many young people within the Commonwealth as possible.
However, Meghan will not be joining her husband Prince Harry on the Fijian leg of their royal tour.
This decision has led many to believe the possible mother-to-be may want to skip that part of the trip as Fiji is suspeitble to the mosquito-borne Zika Virus, which is extremely dangerous to pregnant women.
Meghan also won’t be participating in the Harbour Bridge climb with Harry and Aussie PM Scott Morrison.
“As far as everyone understands, Meghan was initally meant to take part in the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb, so when it was made known that only Harry would walk the arch of one of the world’s most famous landmarks, it was as good as a pregnancy announcement,” a source told Woman’s Day.
