The beautiful images were taken at Windsor Castle in late March and have been released on the day of her 90th birthday, Thursday April 21.
The first portrait shows Her Majesty with her five great-grandchildren and her two youngest grandchildren, sitting in the Green Drawing Room of Windsor Castle.
But the best part? The fact Queen Elizabeth is holding Princess Charlotte on her lap as the 11-month-old plays happily with a toy horse while her sparkling blue eyes steal the show.
The other family members from left to right include the two-year-old daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall, Mia, who is proudly holding The Queen’s handbag.
Eight-year-old James, Viscount Severn and his sister, Lady Louise, 12, whose parents are The Earl and Countess of Wessex. The Queen’s other granddaughter’s Savannah, five, and Isla Phillips three, who are daughters of The Queen’s oldest grandson Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn.
And of course, two-year-old Prince George and his famous chubby cheeks and knee-high socks are back with a vengeance!
The second portrait to commemorate her 90th is of The Queen and her only daughter Anne, The Princess Royal.
Princess Anne, 55, can be seen placing her arm lovingly around her mother as they recline on a plush couch in the White Drawing Room at Windsor Castle.
Clearly thrilled to be in her daughter’s company The Queen, who looks particularly smart in a peach-coloured cardigan and tartan skirt, beams at the camera.
Interestingly, The Queen’s three other children Prince Charles, Prince Edward and Prince Andrew weren’t included in the photo. Meanwhile, her husband Prince Philip also was absent from the photographs.
The final portrait shows the longest-ruling Monarch doing what she loves best – spending time outdoors with her beloved dogs.
Looking happy and at ease as the ominous clouds roll over, it shows a much more relaxed side to the mother-of-four, who is pictured on the steps at the rear of the East Terrace and East Garden of Windsor Castle.
Her four cute pooches are a collection of corgis and dorgies.
These latest images come just one day after the Royal Mail unveiled four limited-edition stamps of The Queen and the future Kings of England – Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George.
In the lead up to The Queen’s birthday, a documentary called Our Queen at Ninety was also released. The in-depth show touched on her deep love for George and Charlotte.
Duchess Catherine, 34, revealed that the monarch always leaves out gifts for her children whenever they visit Buckingham Palace, adding that George calls his great-grandmother “Gan-Gan.”
“She always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay and that just shows her love for her family,” Catherine fondly remarked.
