Breaking News: Hospital security stepped up before pregnant Duchess Kate’s arrival!

As the world awaits the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby, Woman's Day has been exclusively told it could be any time now.

“Security is popping in and out all the time now,” reports our onlooker, who adds that the international press presence is growing. “All staff has to show a pass and be on a list to get in.”

This comes as speculation grows along with royal watchers, who reported earlier this evening Australian time, on Twitter, that a police van arrived outside of the Lindo Wing maternity ward – where baby Prince George was born almost two years ago – which parked briefly and then rushed away.

The British press has been abuzz with news in the past 24 hours that the duchess is due earlier than her widely predicted April 25 due date.

Keep an eye on this space, royal watchers!
