Sarah Roberts and James Stewart’s wedding feels like yesterday, and that’s likely because their love has remained strong since tying the knot.
So, two years later, it’s no surprise that the gorgeous couple is more in love than ever, and fans can feel a little closer to the duo after some never-seen-before pictures from their wedding day were released.
Sarah’s beauty look for her first wedding at Coogee beach was crafted by none other than Home and Away’s makeup artist Laura Vazquez.
Laura took to her Instagram to post a loving tribute dedicated to her two friends to celebrate their anniversary.
The message was accompanied by two close-up pictures of the makeup and one sweet moment between Sarah and James, who is looking lovingly at his wife.
Laura began the sweet caption, “Two years ago today I was honoured to glam up my beautiful friend @sarahroberts for her Australian Wedding to @jamesstewart ❤️.
“It was such a memorable day. A day I will never forget. Happy 2 year Anniversary Lovebirds 💕💕 Love You 😍 #Hair #Makeup #Wedding #Beauty #Glam,” she continued.
As expected, Sarah voiced her gratitude for her friend, former colleague, and makeup artist in the comment section.
“Nawww the most special day. Thank you my love, always there ❤️🤵🏻♂️👰🏽♀️ xxx,” she wrote.
“@sarahroberts Always will be there ❤️,” replied Laura.
On her personal Instagram account, Sarah re-posted a video Laura shared which featured a 180 look at the makeup.
Sarah and James found love on the Home and Away set in 2017, and fans weren’t surprised when they announced their engagement a year after dating.
In 2019, the couple celebrated not one but two weddings.
The first wedding at Coogee in Sydney was a casual affair for the official signing of the papers, which was followed by glamorous nuptials at an Irish castle.
James has previously spoken about how the weddings were a “fresh start” for the couple, which will allow them to create a lifetime of their own memories.
“It feels like a foundation’s made to go and do something brilliant.
“Who knows what’s going to happen in the next six, 12, 18, 24 months? But whatever it is, it’s going to be well-supported and it’s going to be so much easier,” he said.
