If you were around for Sarah Roberts’ grand debut on Home and Away back in the day, you might remember her character Willow as quite the mysterious gal.
Arriving at The Bay from river-side (that’s Home & Away speak for being one of the rough lot from Yabbie Creek – Alf’s words not ours), she certainly wasn’t the first misunderstood, semi-dysfunctional character to grace the soap’s screens.
But very quickly, she proved herself a respectable, hard working woman – and a darn good friend to boot.
You just have to watch her adorable chemistry with the likes of Tori and Jasmine to know she’s a goodun’.
That said, her storyline hasn’t been smooth sailing.
Yep, Willow Harris has seen her fair share of ups and downs in The Bay over the years – so much so that she almost deserves her own spin-off show.
Of course, the latter isn’t looking likely anytime soon – but we’ll happily settle for her best moments in the interim.

Willow made her first appearance in The Bay back in 2017 when she pulled up to the garage on a motor bike, biffed character Justin Morgan with her helmet and demanded her money back. What. An. Entrance.

Helmet biffing aside, the pair quickly struck up a, er… situationship, and thus, Willow’s first love interest was decided. And in a twist of glorious TV fate, the actors Sarah Roberts and James Stewart have actually hooked up in real life – and got married in 2019!

Dean Willow
But that’s not to say she didn’t have some history with other Bay locals – in fact, River Boy Dean was also thrown in the mix for a while there as we learnt about Willow’s own history from the River – don’t forget your roots and all that…

While the pair were undoubtedly close, Willow settled down with Morgan fairly quick smart – though the pair later got together for a short stint when she ceremoniously dumped Justin.

Colby Willow
Oh, and in another River reunion, Willow and Colby have also remained close for the duration of her narrative – their friendship is actually quite sweet to watch.

The former River-sider battled various demons as she settled into The Bay. While she landed a job at the surf club, her gambling addiction got the better of her at one point, causing her friends to have to intervene.
Alex
In 2019, Willow and resident doctor Alex started a whirlwind relationship. But once again, Willow was unlucky in love when Alex decided to take a job offer in Queensland.
Jasmine Willow
But despite her ups and downs in the relationship department, Willow has friendships to last a lifetime. Alongside Tori, she’s close with local nurse Jasmine (who happens to have another whopper of a narrative).
Colby
The charming PT is nothing short of an unsung heroine in the Bay’s parts, always making time for her friends when the going gets tough.

In more recent scenes, Willow is thrilled to see a familiar face in the bay, the mysterious Amber who appears to be well acquainted with Willow’s fellow River Boys Colby and Dean. Stay tuned…
