This week, he summons the courage to go on a date with the real estate agent. But will John’s big night turn into a disaster?
As we saw in Home And Away last week, Susie (Bridie Carter) arrived in town to help Christian (Ditch Davey) find a place to live.
But within moments of walking into the Diner, she was taken by John (Shane Withington).

The pair connected as he shared with Susie all the interesting – according to him, anyway – trivia he knew about the Bay.
Somewhat incredibly, a charmed Susie asked him to dinner that night. Wow, she doesn’t waste time!
“She’s a woman who knows what she wants, so when she sees it, she goes after it and doesn’t apologise,” Bridie, 50, tells TV WEEK.
…even though it really isn’t.

After trying internet dating and realising it’s not for him, things are unexpectedly looking up.
“After his heartbreak in 2020, John can’t believe his luck,” series producer Lucy Addario says of John.
“It’s lovely to see him in that place.”
