There’s something in the air this month that has inspired Aussie actors to wax lyrical about their time spent on some of our favourite shows.
And former Home and Away star Todd Lasance has just become the latest actor to join the craze as he uploaded a swathe of nostalgic shots from his years playing Aden Jefferies on the long-running soap.
Featured among the images were some Summer Bay favourites including Lincoln Lewis, Luke Mitchell, Rebecca Breeds, Axle Whitehead, Mark Furze, Jessica Tovey and Tessa James and David Jones-Roberts.
“HOME AND AWAY THROWBACK! After seeing Lincoln Lewis’ post, I went back through the vault and found some gems from back in the day that I took with the cast on set & events etc,” he captioned the collection of retro photos.
“Made friends that will last a life time. The entire cast were so unbelievably close back then. Such a rare experience.”
“P.S – I look 13. Cool hair bro. And yes they are hair foils,” he fondly mused.
It didn’t take long for Todd’s former co-stars to weigh in, with Lincoln writing: “Brother THIS brings back some bloody good memories!! It truly was great to be around such a tight cast, on & off set there was always epic times! Smiling big time going though these, thanks for taking us back mate!”
Lincoln even jokingly suggested the gang get back together on screen.
“We demand the spin off!” he wrote, with Todd responding, “The people need the spinoff!”
Over on their Instagram stories, it seems the boys already have a potential plot in place as Todd joked that his character Aden should have been with Lincoln’s character Geoff.
While this era of Home and Away cast may no longer work together, many of them remain close.
Todd has moved to the US and found success in Hollywood and is regularly seen catching up with Luke Mitchell and Rebecca Breeds who have also nabbed gigs overseas.
