How did your role as Heather come about?

Through my wonderful agent. I found the brief really enticing, given Heather’s vivacious nature and the exciting plot. I got the role two weeks after my audition. It was such a wonderful surprise. My mum and I literally jumped for joy in the kitchen.

Heather is a force to be reckoned with. Given her relatively unfortunate family life and upbringing, her confident attitude and spirit is admirable. She has a passion for family law, and wants to help others who have experienced that struggle.

Did you watch Home And Away growing up?

[Laughs] I hadn’t grown up with the show as most people had – my mum and dad raised my big sister and I on The Simpsons and Looney Tunes. It made it all the more exciting to be welcomed as part of the team with such warmth
