After months of turmoil, Theo has landed his dream job as the lead singer in a band. Now, he’s chasing his dream girl: Kirby.
But in the wake of former frontman Bob’s (Rob Mallett) departure, Lyrik have brought in a strict new rule: band members can’t date one another. Will Theo (Matt Evans) risk it all for love?
In Home And Away, Lyrik continue to search for a van after a fake buyer duped Remi (Adam Rowland) and Ziggy (Sophie Dillman). They’re broke, but John (Shane Withington) refuses to let them busk outside the surf club.
As they hatch a new plan, a car horn sounds out the front – it’s Justin (James Stewart) with a new van!
The band is ecstatic and drag in Justin for celebratory drinks. Soon, word spreads and the backyard becomes a party. Tane (Ethan Browne) and Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) soak up a carefree afternoon. Having had a brush with death during the police raid on the bikie headquarters in recent episodes, they’re ready to focus on a future – together. For actors Ethan and Jacqui, the chemistry on screen is very important.
“Jacqui and I get on super-well and we have fun on set. We constantly take the mickey out of each other,” Ethan tells TV WEEK. “We both try to find the truth in our scenes, and I think because we get along so well, it reads on screen.”
Meanwhile, Leah (Ada Nicodemou) arrives to find Justin serenading the crowd. Giddy with delight, the couple decide to take their romance to Salt.
Also swept up is Theo, who steals a kiss from Kirby (Angelina Thomson). But the pair are busted by Remi, who’s looking for drinks. Kirby insists their relationship has to be a secret – it could wreck the band.
Theo agrees for now, but the following day tries his luck again. Kirby stands firm: the band comes first. Can a wounded Theo handle keeping their relationship under wraps?
