Marilyn’s quest for justice has left several people in hospital and Roo fighting for her life. Will she lose her best friend?
In Home And Away, Roo (Georgie Parker) remains unconscious in hospital, unable to breathe on her own.
Alongside John (Shane Withington), who was unknowingly driving a van with a bomb on board, the much-loved resident was caught in the blast and hurled to the side of the road.
Mali (Kyle Shilling) arrived to help, but the situation was serious.
When Marilyn and Irene (Lynne McGranger) come to see Roo in hospital, Dr Bree Cameron (Juliet Godwin) tells them Roo’s condition is grave. She’s concerned about her legs and has asked for her to be transferred to a specialist unit in the city. Marilyn breaks down in tears.
“This is all my fault!” she cries.
Emily, 53, tells TV WEEK her character is guilt-ridden.
“The bomb was supposed to be for her and, if she hadn’t signed up with Stunning Organics, this would never have happened,” she says.
Meanwhile, across the corridor, John is in recovery following intensive surgery. But as he tries to get out of bed, he becomes dizzy and clutches his chest in pain – he’s having a heart attack! Bree rushes to assist, with Irene right behind…
The police have been investigating thoroughly, but can’t yet link Stunning Organics to the explosion. Marilyn can’t believe the fraudulent skincare company is now going to get away with attempted murder too!
Kirby (Angelina Thomson), however, has made her own progress. When she learns the CEO of Stunning Organics was forced to step down weeks prior to the blast, she concludes he did it.
But when she takes her information to policewoman Rose (Kirsty Marillier), she’s told to leave the case to the authorities. Her frustration growing, Kirby lashes out and claims the police aren’t doing enough!
Will these criminals get away with it? And worse, could they come back to target Marilyn again?
