Home and Away star Kassandra Clementi has casually announced she is expecting her first child with partner and American animal welfare worker Dan McKernan.
Kassandra took to Instagram to share an image of herself cradling her growing baby bump whilst encouraging followers to donate to the barn sanctuary to support all the “fury” animals.
“It’s #GivingTuesday and Mike’s incoming baby sister would love it if you could help us continue to care for all of her furry brothers and sisters here at @barnsanctuary,” she wrote on Instagram.
Dan also posted the image to his personal Instagram account, adding that the couple is expecting to welcome the baby in early May.
Kassandra once played Maddy Osborne on the Australian drama series from 2013 to 2016, however departed for the United States in order to further her acting career.
But her co-stars still showed her love in the comment section, congratulating Kassandra and Dan on their exciting news including Raechelle Banno who played Olivia Richards.
“Love love love you x,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Alicia Banit, who is commonly recognized for her role as Kat in the iconic Aussie series Dance Academy was thrilled to hear they were expecting.
“YAYAYAYAYYYY A BUBBY GIRL TO JOIN THE GANG,” she wrote.
Kassandra’s followers were also excited as they flooded the comments with an abundance of congratulation messages.
“OMG congratulations! You are going to be the most divine mama xxx,” one wrote.
Another wrote: “Congratulations Beautiful. so happy for you both!! So wonderful.”
In August 2021 Kassandra was engaged to American actress Jacqueline Toboni but confirmed the split a year later and began posting Dan on social media within the same month.
Prior to Jacqueline, the Australian actress was rumoured to be dating veterinarian heartthrob Dr Chris Brown from 2014 to 2015. The pair were spotted together in various paparazzi pictures however their suspected relationship was kept extremely private with no social media presence.
