They’re one of the tightest knit casts in the business, so we’re pretty accustomed to seeing the Home And Away stars sharing snaps together, hanging out outside of work and protecting one another when needed.
The latter is exactly what Summer Bay stalwart Georgia Parker has done in her latest post dedicated to co-star, Emily Weir.
If, by some off-chance, you haven’t been keeping up-to-date with the latest drama unfolding the the fictional coastal town, here’s the deal: Emily’s character, Mac, has been having a very rough time.
Sure, Mac has made some questionable choices…
(Channel Seven)After being dumped by her boyfriend Ari when his ex turned up in town, Mac found out she was pregnant. She then suffered a miscarriage and the traumatic and isolating experience has left her in a downward spiral since.
She’s been acting out, getting drunk and even tried to pash her BFF Ziggy’s man – Tane.
Honestly, we can’t blame her because A) what she’s been through has been gruelling and B) have you seen Tane aka Ethan Browne?
Tangent aside, Georgie has taken to Instagram to share a heartfelt post about the beautiful person Emily is, all the while reminding fans the show is just a show and the 29-year-old is not actually Mac.
Georgie shared two sweet snaps with Em.

“I know her character Mack’s going through a rough time, but here’s a timely reminder that it’s all make believe 🙋🏻♀️ She’s a good egg our Em 💋💋💋💋💋💋.”
Georgie’s sweet post was met with support from fellow Home And Away stars including Ethan, who wrote: “There they are!! Dream team 😍.”
