But these days, the TV WEEK Gold Logie nominee’s biggest role is being a mother to her adorable four-year-old son Forest and newborn Ralph.

The 43-year-old left Summer Bay for good in 2013, and moved to Hollywood where she met her now-husband Howard Moggs.

Esther and Howard tied the knot in 2017 before welcoming Forest the following year and little Ralph in September 2022.

The pair regularly gush over their kids on social media, with Esther describing Forest as a “beautiful little soul.”

Esther previously said that juggling motherhood and a small child has been interesting.

“I’ve had to take him to a couple of auditions when I haven’t been able to get a baby sitter last minute,” Esther revealed. “It’s challenging but for the most part we’ve done pretty well.”

Esther said there’s many things she misses about living in Australia, and hasn’t ruled out moving home to raise Forest Down Under.

“There is still a part of me that would love to be close to my family, and Howard is definitely open to living in Australia at some point,” she said.

In September last year, Esther opened up about how the pandemic had impacted Forest.

“On top of all your normal 2 year old challenges, I think this whole year and what it has brought with it can’t help but affect him too (no matter how much I’ve tried to protect him from it all, sometimes you still feel like you’re falling short),” she penned.

“I hope all the mamas out there who are feeling a bit overwhelmed with the restrictions and parenting and everything else the pandemic has thrust upon us aren’t being too hard on themselves.”
