Eddie’s wife Hannah has just given birth to the couple’s first baby!
The 34-year-old actor and his 33-year-old PR executive wife were reportedly thrilled to welcome their little daughter into the world.
And the name they chose for their new little princess is just adorable (and so British!).
Hannah cut a fine figure when she was pregnant…and it looks like Eddie couldn’t keep his eyes off the beautiful mother-to-be!
Eddie took time to hang with the cast of Suicide Squad, including Margot Robbie, Cara Delvingne and Will Smith, before his new baby was born.
The pair decided to name their firstborn Iris Mary Redmayne.
A spokeswoman for the couple informed the press: “I can confirm that Eddie and Hannah Redmayne have welcomed their first child.”
Eddie’s new film, J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is about to hit cinemas.
No doubt the couple are thrilled and basking in their baby joy, as they had elected to not find out the sex of the baby until Hannah gave birth.
“It’s gonna be a surprise!” Eddie had confessed to US TV show Extra back in February.

The sweethearts wed in December 2014 and confirmed the impending arrival of their newest family member in January this year.
Eddie won the Academy Award for best actor for his transformation into the character of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.
