This weekend may have been the Queen’s birthday, but dear Lilibet and her loved ones have been gifting us with the sweetest presents.

First we got to see all our favourites at Trooping the Colour and then the cherry on top, we got a rare glimpse into the Cambridges family life.

Duchess Kate was snapped with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as they watched Prince William play a game of polo.

From Trooping…

To the Polo!

One of the highlights was a moment that reminded us of Princess Diana, we got to see the Duchess of Cambridge shake away royal protocol and let her hair down by running after the kids.

But after some sleuthing (and looking at the incredibly candid shots, over and over again) it actually shows that Kate was running over to Prince William.

She had just seen that her hubby, who she married in 2011, had won his match.

So the mum-of-three decided to quickly nip over and give her man two sweet kisses on his cheek.

Catherine, who welcomed her third child Prince Louis back in April, was also seen congratulating England polo team captain, Malcolm Borwick.

Fans assumed she was running for the kids…

Put she was actually heading to her Prince.

On the way, Kate also said hello to William’s sports mate Malcolm Borwick.

The outing took place on Sunday, the day after Queen Elizabeth’s official birthday celebrations.

It was lovely seeing the entire clan at Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire.

Looking very different from her Trooping outfit, Catherine showed off her love of frugal fashion.

She rocked a very chic blue and white pin-stripped Zara dress, which retails for about $70.

Fingers crossed the next time we see our favourite family will be at Prince Louis’ christening.

Kensington Palace have yet to announce a date for the youngster’s christening but insiders believe it will be in July.
