As if being a full time Princess and mum-of-two wasn’t enough to handle, reports are surfacing that Duchess Catherine is about to launch a new business.

The Mail on Sunday have reported that Duchess Catherine plans to release a food brand focusing on organic products grown on her and Prince William’s estate, Anmer Hall.

No doubt inspired by Prince Charles’s food company Duchy Originals, that encompass over 200 products while they raise millions for charity.

Sources tell the publication that the Duchess loves growing food at her country home – and feeds Prince George and Princess Charlotte organic products – so she’d love to do what her father-in-law does and make it available to purchase with the funds going to charity.

“It’s a concept for now but it will happen – just give it 18 months or so. And it’s natural that it should do so,” sourced told the paper.

“One day Prince William will want to have a profitable business attached to his estate to generate funds – both charitable and otherwise – just like his father does,” they added.

Launched in 1990, the products in Prince Charles’ successful company are all grown on Duchy of Cornwall estates held in trust by the next-in-line to the throne.

“It’s also important for William to promote his home, Norfolk, in the same way that Charles promotes Cornwall with the Duchy range. You can just imagine the labelling – ‘home-grown organic produce from Norfolk, home of Prince William’,” the insider revealed to the The Mail on Sunday.

It’s also been reported that Catherine’s sister Pippa, who is training to be a nutritionist, also has a part to play in the business.

It’s no secret that the Middleton’s party business, Party Pieces, is worth around $64 million AUD, so the Duchess of Cambridge won’t be short on good business advice.
