Duchess Catherine has turned to her parents for comfort and support throughout her severe morning sickness as the palace announces her next scheduled appearance.
Now into her sixth week of being bedridden due to hyperemesis gravidarum, the Duchess has reportedly travelled to her family’s home in Bucklebury, Berkshire along with her 15-month old son Prince George.

Her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton are keeping a close eye on Catherine, 32, as the severe illness is taking a toll on the expectant mum.
Not just any ordinary morning sickness, the symptoms of hyperemesis gravidarum include prolonged and severe nausea, vomiting, dehydration, weight loss and low blood pressure.
“Kate is feeling so lousy that she just wanted to be with her family and out of public view,” a source told The Mail.
“She is extremely close to Carole, who is very much a hands-on grandmother. Between her and their nanny, Maria, Kate has all the help she needs with George while she is feeling so sick. And Bucklebury is somewhere she can just relax and be herself.”

Carole is reportedly seeking out alternative therapies and herbal remedies in a desperate search for anything that will help her daughter. It is, of course, the second time that Catherine has battled the illness, after first being hospitalised with the same thing while pregnant with Prince George.

But it looks like her next appearnace has already been scheduled. In what would be her first public appearance since her second pregnancy was announced, the palace has scheduled a state visit for the Duke and Duchess, along with the Queen to meet with the President of Singapore and his wife when they are in London next week – on October 21.
“The duchess very much hopes to undertake this engagement, but as with all recent engagements her attendance will be reviewed closer to the time, depending on her health,” royal sources close to the Duke and Duchess told US ABC news.
The last time Catherine was seen in public was at this event in August when she Prince William and Prince Harry attended WWI centenary commemorations at the Tower of London.

Last month, Catherine was also forced to cancel what was scheduled to be her first solo international tour to Malta to celebrate the Mediterranean country’s historic 50th Independence Day celebrations.

With his wife bed-bound, Prince William gallantly went in her place telling well-wishers concerned about her health that Catherine was “so-so” adding, “she’s up and down at the moment.”
At a recent public appearance, Prince William sought the advice of Professor Lesley Page, who is president of the Royal College of Midwives and has over 30-years of experience.
“He actually said to me, ‘Would you like to come and help with us?” Professor Page said.

She told reporters the conversation took place during an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle and that she willingly accepted the Prince’s invitation to help the couple.
