There to attend the annual multi-faith Commonwealth Day Service, Duchess Catherine looked pretty in pink in an Alexander McQueen coat and matching hat with Prince William at her side.

Other royals in attendance included Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.

In a rare show of affection between Duchess Catherine and Prince William, they appeared to put to rest the reports of a rift between them, with Charles reportedly recently saying of William and Kate “They don’t let me see my grandson.”

Catherine had nothing but affection to show for both Charles and Camilla though in spite of reports that her parents the Middletons were “taking over” the royal household as they move into Anmer Hall to help with Prince George ahead of the arrival of the new royal bub.

Duchess Catherine looked pretty in pink and positively glowing as she stepped out to Westminster Abbey for the annual Commonwealth Day Service.

If that coat looks familiar that might be because Catherine wore the same one at the same stage of her last pregnancy, on the balcony at Buckingham Palace for the annual Trooping The Colour ceremony before she welcomed Prince George.

Prince William was in attendance too along with several other fellow royals.

It is one of Duchess Catherine’s final official scheduled appearances before she takes off on maternity leave with the royal baby due in just a few weeks – the bump is growing!

Prince William, 32, is reportedly glad to have the presence of the Middletons and even calls his father-in-law Michael Middleton ‘dad’.

Queen Elizabeth was in attendance at the Abbey too, looking in remarkably good spirits alongside her husband Prince Phillip.

Look familiar? Duchess Catherine wore a very similar pretty-in-pink ensemble complete with matching hat and coast when she visited Belgium with Prince William last year, ahead of the announcement of the royal pregnancy.

Both outfits were designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen who of course is famous for designing Duchess Kate’s royal wedding dress from her 2011 nuptials to Prince William.
