As she makes her final public appearance before heading off to have her second child, Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge is telling friends she’s convinced she is having a little girl.
The Duchess, who is due on April 25, is putting her hunch down to the fact that she is craving sweet treats like chocolates and biscuits, which, according to an old wives’ tale, is a sure sign you are having a girl.
In the months leading up to the arrival of their second child, the 33-year-old Duchess has developed quite a sweet tooth, craving sweet treats including sticky fruit loaves and chocolate cakes from nearby bakeries.
“Prince William has always had a sweet tooth, but Kate has really had sweet cravings during this pregnancy,” a source told The Mail on Sunday.
“She could barely anything down in the first months of her pregnancy but recently she just cannot get enough of naughty treats.”
Both Prince William and the Duchess have been spotted by Norfolk locals quickly ducking in to nearby bakery Humble Pie to buy their wicked chocolate biscuit cake.
The couple’s second child will be born in the private Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, West London where their first child Prince George was born.
