The Prince of Wales created a video in support of Earth Hour, but the star of the video was featured in the background, and adorable snap of the young Prince being held by his royal grandfather.
In the photo you can’t help notice that Prince Charles is such a proud grandfather, just like anybody else!
The little tot who is about to become to a big brother is wearing a white bucket hat with his blue overalls and white shirt, while his grandfather looks as regal as ever in his suit with a pocket square.
The video was filmed in Clarence House, where Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla reside.
A source close to the palace revealed there are “many photos of Prince George in various spots” throughout the residence.
This isn’t the first time The Duke of Cornwell has displayed unseen snaps of his grandson. Last year in November during a chat with Google+ Hangout presenter Alex Jones, sitting on the mantelpiece behind him was a precious never-before-seen snap of an adoring Prince Charles lovingly cradling his adorable grandson on his christening day.
Soon the table will hold another snap of Prince Charles’ with Duchess Catherine’s second child – with many believing she is expecting a little girl! No matter what – there’s sure to be an abundance of sweet family photos in the palace!
The focus of the video was for Earth Hour, which encourages people to turn off all non-essential lighting for one hour.
“Ladies and gentleman, Earth Hour is exactly what it says it is: one hour for the whole world to think about this extraordinary planet that sustains us all,” Prince Charles said.
“It is a symbolic and powerful reminder that together we have the power to change things. It should also remind us that we do not have much time in which to make those changes.
With his Grandson in mind, Prince Charles stressed the importance of Earth Hour.
“We have a duty to protect [earth], not just for ourselves but also for our children and grandchildren,” Prince Charles added.
Prince George is already taking after his Grandfather with a keen interest in science! The 20-month-old bub spent some lovely bonding time with his mother, where she took her son to London’s Science Museum.
“They seemed to enjoy themselves. It’s lovely that she feels she can bring George here,” a source told People.
