Cressida Bonas quits dancing for Prince Harry

Prince Harry’s girlfriend Cressida Bonas has given up her dream of being a dancer, because it’s not a suitable career for a possible future princess.

The 24-year-old has instead secured herself a job working as a PA in a highly regarded London law firm, despite studying dance for the past four years.

The unexpected career move means she and Prince Harry will be able to spend more time together and is a sure sign of just how serious the pair are about their relationship.

“Cressida is working as a PA in a West End office for the time being,” a friend of hers told UK paper The Mail On Sunday.

“She doesn’t want to do anything that will embarrass Prince Harry, I think she felt uncomfortable about photographs being seen of her dancing earlier this year.”

Cressida’s decision is based on the fact that she wants to remain out of the spotlight as Harry’s girlfriend and not attract attention while performing. Royal courtiers also did not think the title “dancer” appropriate for a possible future princess.

“Cressida has done a U-turn – she has fallen head-over-heels for Harry and he comes first now,” the friend said.

“She isn’t afraid of the royal circus anymore.”

The pair, who have been dating for more than a year, have been spotted out and about a lot recently, including at the theatre watching The Book Of Mormon.
