From influencers to A-listers, plastic surgery has become the norm for celebrities.
But it is quite a recent phenomenon that celebrities have started openly admitting to having plastic surgery.
In this day and age, many women are feeling societal pressures to keep up with beauty standards, especially as a result of social media.
These pressures extend beyond the everyday woman, and many celebrities say they feel the pressure even more by being in the public eye where their appearances are constantly scrutinised and critiqued, which has likely led to the rise of cosmetic procedures.
While it is still quite a taboo topic for many, some celebrities have embraced their procedures and spoken honestly about any botox, fillers or reconstructions they’ve had.
Here’s a roundup of some celebrities who’ve admitted to having plastic surgery.
