Ladies, Zac Efron is single once more.
The Bad Neighbours actor has pulled the plug on his relationship with American model Sami Miro after almost two years together, a source confirms to US Weekly.
Zac, who is currently in the process of filming the Baywatch remake in Tybee Island, Georgia alongside fellow muscle-enthusiast, Dwayne Johnson, has since deleted all traces of Miro from his Instagram account.
The erase includes dozens of photos of the then-loved-up couple on their November trip to Japan and Vietnam, and if that wasn’t telling enough, Zac has also unfollowed both of his ex’s Instagram and Twitter accounts.
The split comes as a bit of a shock to fans, as the stunning model was still posting loved-up shots as recent as two weeks ago, when the then-couple attended the MTV Movie Awards together.
“Hopefully they can work things out, hard to know when you’re looking at things from the outside. Well good luck to them both,” one fan wrote to Zac in an Instagram comment with another adding: “Wishing you lots of strength during these tough times. You deserve nothing but the best!”
But while some fans share messages of support for their idol during his split, others are taking a different approach, and are expressing their joy that their celeb crush is single once more.
“Zac is single, my time has come!” said one fan. “Now that you’re single, let’s talk about a meet and greet,” another excited user wrote amongst an influx of others that shared the same sentiment.
The High School Musical alum and the beauty made their first public appearance as a couple in October of 2014, and it wasn’t long after that the star began gushing about his new leading lady.
Speaking about his new found happiness to Ellen DeGeneres, the 28-year-old cooed, “Things are great. She’s awesome, she’s a superstar.”

Meanwhile, Sami opened up about what it felt like to date an A-list celebrity in a recent chat with Elle magazine. “I’ve never spoken about us before, but, um, it’s definitely different.”
“If I was dating someone who wasn’t in the limelight, I might have more photos on [Instagram] of our relationship, but I do think it’s important. I mean, it’s what is going on in my life, and I think that my social media can still represent that,” the model, 28, added.
