“Women should have lots of secrets!” January Jones remains mum on the identity of her four-year-old son’s father

She’s made a household name for herself playing Betty on Mad Men but January Jones refuses to succumb to the pressures of public life and continues to remain tight-lipped about the father of her four-year-old son, Xander Dane Jones.

Similar to Kim Kardashian-West, January says she also took placenta pills in a bid to stave off post-natal depression.

Talking to The New York Times the Mad Men star said: “Women should have lots of secrets. It’s our right to have secrets.”

She added of her son’s father, “That’s my son’s business. It’s not the public’s business!”

Despite successfully remaining hush-hush on the issue, the rumour mill has gone into over-drive in recent years over who the father could be with everyone from X-Men director Matthew Vaughn to TV Chef Bobby Flay being reported as possible baby daddies.

In a recent interview with OK! Magazine the 37-year-old actress opened up about motherhood saying, “It’s a challenge, but I’m not the only mother dealing with it.

“I manage to make sacrifices. I was supposed to go to the Smithsonian museum to meet the US President, but I couldn’t because my kid was sick,” she told the magazine.
