Powder paint is recommended because it wipes easily off windows and has the most intense colours. Soap paint and any paint mixed with white liquid shoe polish are also suitable. Paste- and starch-based paint is hard to wash off windows. You will need: newspapers powder paint mixed in small bowls paintbrushes adhesive tape apron Step 1 Put on apron. Step 2 Tape newspaper to bottom of window and floor to protect floor and ledges from paint. Step 3 Paint onto inside of window as rain will wash off any outside painting. Paintings can be left for days or weeks. Step 4 Wash painting off with sponge and soapy water. The paint does not mark window in any way but the longer it is left, the harder it is to remove as it seems to bake on.
