If you’ve ever fantasised about dining with one of Hollywood’s most handsome heartthrobs now may be your chance, but it will not come cheap.
George Clooney and his wife Amal are hosting a dinner at their Los Angeles home in order to raise money for Hillary Clinton’s campaign reports Hello.
Tickets to the dinner cost a princely $44,800, and rumour has it the hosts will not be cooking.
Not one to keep his political leanings on the down low, this is not the first time Clooney, 54, has put his dinner party where his election hopes lie. He previously hosted a dinner for Barack Obama and raised over $18.5 million.
Clooney recently said of Clinton:
“[She’s] a voice of tolerance and experience who’s spent a lifetime fighting for the rights of the less fortunate. A candidate who knows first-hand the complexity of our international relationships”.
A nice change from someone else in the running who shall remain unnamed.
